Steve Jobs

Steve Job's is possibly one of the smartest and riskiest people I know to this day. Now did I think some of his decisions he made, like dropping out of college, was a smart idea, well the answer is no. I do not necessarily agree with things like that because that is a ton of money to just throw away and the thing that gets me the most is that he is just one of those guys that was very smart but could not stick it out and yet he became one of the richest people out there. However, I have to give him credit that without a college degree, he made the best of his opportunities to become his own entrepreneur and produce a very successful company that everyone knows about and could never mistake it for something else. Now some of the lessons to be learned about management are that you have to put so much time into your company to get going, you have to do anything to make money and have to give up so much to do so. Also, how calligraphy plays a huge part on your products like how big to make words or letters and what font they should be to be appealing to the human eye. Also another lesson is to be careful on who you choose to help you out with you company and not someone you are not sure of, then get into an argument with and then get fired from you own production. Just remember that anyone can take anything away from you if you do not know what you are doing. But he did benefit from all this because now he is smarter and wiser to make the right decisions. Decision that end up making Next and Pixar which is now the most successful animation studio in the world. Every decision that he made ended up helping him in the long run, like dropping out of college or getting fired from your own company because it made him what he is today, to do what makes you happy and do not trust anyone. Steve Job’s has so many lessons to learn from to show you the right path and to not make the same wrong decision he had once made. To learn that when it comes to money that no one is you friend and they will look out for themselves before they look out for anyone else. Steve has experienced so much and his advice for us that he had once seen is “ stay hunger, stay foolish.”

I agree with many of Rory's points in his blog. Although I do beleive now a days, a college degree is the most correct way to become succesful in life, Job's saw an oppurtnity to learn on his own. This is literally what makes him the most daring and one of the best if not the greatest entrepenuer this world has ever seen. Job's saw and oppurtunity to do something great, to do something that he loved and he approached it head on, you cant help but to respect him. Job's was one of the most succesful individuals in his field of work, he went where no one seemed possibly with technology. As time unraveled itself technology was changing just as rapidly. The fact that Job's kept up with it, and in some case surpassed what other thought were unreachable goals, is unbeleivable. It is safe to say, in my opinion, that Steve Jobs was one of the best there ever was. The ammount of creativity that he brought to his company i beleive will not be matched by any standards.

I agree with most of the points in this blog. Steve Jobs is definitely one of the most daring entrepreneurs this world has ever seen. Not only was he very daring but it also paid off in the end. I agree with Rory that it wasn't the brightest idea to drop out of college; however it's commendable that he took the chance and it ended up being the correct choice. Jobs philosophy is that you have to do what makes you happy, even if it goes against the grain of society. I agree with Jobs because I have always felt that you always have the choice to make changes in your life in order to happy. Doing what’s right for you may not be what is right for everyone else. Steve Jobs just proves this point by being “foolish” and quitting school and making the mistake of hiring someone who would end up firing him down the road. I disagree when you say that you can’t trust anyone. I think you just need to be smart about who you trust and don’t give them too much power.
