Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was the founder of the Apple. The amazing story of his career begins with what seems to be a dismal start but an illustrious finish. He gets fired from a company that he started, it seemed as if his career was ver but he was able to use that as motivation and strive to achieve something that no other person ha every done. He was able to accomplish that because he never let his setbacks hold him back. Now he was able to build an empire and was the mastermind behind Pixar, one of the best movie producing companies of this century and also founded apple one of the most popular technology providers. Almost everyone today has either an iPod, iPad, or an iPhone. I personally have an iPhone and I am able to do things on my iPhone that I could do on a computer. In the speech he performed at Stanford he expressed that he only truly understood the meaning of life when he faced death. When he realized that he only had a few months left to live he realized the true meaning of life was to live each day to the fullest and you can never say I love you to many times. This allowed him to make a greater bond between him an his family and this carried over to his work where he ran the company by the motto that if you didn’t want to wake up to come to work then I have failed you. This is what I believe allowed him to accomplishes the goals and dreams he had for his companies. Steve Jobs was a great example of determination because at no point in his career did he let his failure bring him down, instead he used it as motivation to accomplish things no one in his industry has ever done before.

You make a good point with how Steve Jobs created one of the most used and most popular inventions yet to mankind. He has improved the world so much with just his invention of Apple never mind his other inventions of Pixar and NeXT. Speaking communication-wise, he has opened a whole new field for people to communicate with one another and do it with ease. With the inventions of iPhones, iPads, and iPods people have way more opportunities of surfing the web wherever they are, Facetiming, listening to a variety of different music choices, and for regular talking on the phone time.
I also like how you pointed out that Steve Jobs was a great candidate for defining the word determination. I totally agree that no matter what he faced, he never let his failures stop him from exceling and succeeding in his career and life. I have a lot of respect for him for Jobs and I am even a little inspired by him.
